Steven D. Allen
Steven is managing broker for Allen Property Group, Inc., a real estate services company based in Santa Cruz County that offers clients assistance with sales, leasing and property management. Steven has been a real estate broker since 1997 and active in oganized real estate associations for over 14 years. After starting his real estate career with the Grubb & Ellis Company in downtown San Francisco, he was a top producing agent at Coldwell Banker NRT for nearly 10 years, before going on to form Allen Property Group in 2008.
Steven has been a Director for the California Association of REALTORS® since 2007. Currently he is a representative member of the Taxation and Government Finance Committee and will serve as the regional representative member of the C.A.R. Strategic Planning and Finance Committee. He is also a current committee member of the MLS Listings Inc. (regional MLS), Budget and Finance Committee.
Steven served as the 2010 President of the Santa Cruz County Association of REALTORS®, a subsidiary of one of the largest trade organizations in the nation. In 2009 he received the prestigious REALTOR® of the Year Award.
Steven is a 1992 graduate of Aptos High School and a 1997 graduate of the California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo. He is also a graduate of Leadership Santa Cruz County, Graduate of the REALTOR® Real Estate Institute (GRI), and holds designations as Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He is active with many business and volunteer organizations including Rotary, Santa Cruz County Business Council and the Chamber of Commerce.
Steven and his wife, Amanda, reside in Rio Del Mar with their three children, Sophia, Gavin and Derek.
